A Rochester store owner pulled up to his business on Saturday and saw it being surrounded by looters, so he did something about it.
The man jumped out of his car, grabbed his gun, and bravely dashed towards his store while firing.
Business owners across the nation, who have already been crippled by the coronavirus pandemic, have been seeing their entire livelihoods destroyed by rioting mobs for the last several days.
Countless stores in Rochester were looted on Saturday.
“A clothing store in downtown Rochester was broken into and ransacked as chaos engulfed the city on Saturday evening,” the Democrat & Chronicle reports. “As vandals dispersed from the Public Safety Building, where police cars were smashed and other vehicles were lit on fire, another group of people moved to the Liberty Pole. ”
“Son got him (Jordans), word,” a man videotaping the scene said in his Twitter video.
Rochester police chief La’Ron Singletary called it ‘pure chaos.”
In Dallas, a man is in critical condition after attempting to chase off looters with a sword. The mob surrounded him and began beating him with rocks and a skateboard, kicking him even after his mangled body laid lifeless in the street.
Likewise, an elderly man in Salt Lake City was beat by a mob and had his car lit on fire for attempting to protect himself and his vehicle.
Leadership in dozens of cities have police standing down as the rioters terrorize entire communities. There has been murders, arson, countless lootings, and kidnappings.
The mobs claim that they are protesting the death of a black man in Minneapolis Police custody on Monday, but it is unclear how looting Louis Vuitton or stealing cars will bring justice.
Rochester has issued a citywide curfew that went into effect from 9 p.m. on Saturday until 7 a.m. on Sunday.
